Default Color Scheme for hand tied Crappie Jigs

I was wondering what are some of ya'lls fav color schemes? For what lakes, time of year, and weather? I'm just wondering, I'm lookin to make some more jigs, and just want to know what is working for everyone out there!

    Thanks,

I use red jighead with pumpkin/chartreuse. I use this year round and on all the lakes I fish. Plus in the summer months I use black/pink, pearl white/chartreuse on an 1/8oz round jig. Use a 2" Triple Ripple on a roadrunner during the spawn. Found to catch more and bigger for some reason. Then I use a Yum Wooly Beavertail during the summer months.

    Orange/chartruese/orange
    Pink/chartruese/pink
White/Gold flake/Ginger (very hot) does better than any combo with chartruese.

thats whem ya need ta keep a log book,, date, location,,barometer,, water temp,, moon phase,, water depth yer in,, water depth fish hookd in... what color, minner tipped or not,,,fish'n double jig rig, slip bobber style (round or pencil)...

these lil details will give ya a good idea what ta look fer next year,, the only draw back is that it takes a year ta compile,,,unless you talk ta other fisherman that wil give ya honest reports always ask'm questions,, if they are any kind of fishermen they will tell ya,, its the ones that dont/wont share that ya gotta watch fer...
