I fished Mill Creek area Saturday and Sunday. Saturday caught 30 from 6:00pm till Dark 30. I was fishing at a 10" depth, that's not the depth of the water. Find a steep bank with trees going into the water and drop a pumpkin seed colored jig down and hang on. Sunday was a bit tougher still caught 27 though but was a bit tougher to find. Once this rain clears and get some more warm nights its on like Donkey Kong.
thanks for the post .
I am from eastern oklahoma but living in Kentucky. We are coming to Ok next monday and I have never fished Eufaula before. I have an old friend (75yrs old) that loves to doodle sock for crappie and has always heard how good the fishing is at Eufaula. I know how hard it is to keep a good fishing spot but was wondering if you could give me any ideas on where to go or what to use? We will only have 1 maybe 2 days to fish. Thanks for your help.
Richard

MrRodbender, I live about 5 miles from Mill Creek and would like to fish there most of the time but I have trouble getting through the shallow water to get up in the creek from the boat ramp. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also any tips would be a big help because I am just getting started crappie fishing. Thanks,Hardrock
