Keystonian
My favorite lake and I have not fished it yet this year. The best places at this time of year on keystone are usually deep. Keystone is one of the last lakes usually to have a good spawn. The water temps are usually colder than most lakes for some reason. Could be that the Arkansas originates in the Rockies. I would fish 20 to 40 foot of water on humps or ledges; brush if you can find it or have put some in. Minnows or jigs tipped with minnows would be my preferance right now and I would fish slow. As in slip bobber slow. Okmulgee Lake shoud be good right now for numbers. A little faster fishing would be good at Okmulgee with a jig being my favorite as in a 1/32nd ounce. Good luck and if you go keep me posted. The rivers and the bends of rivers bumping brush would also be good at keystone if you know where some deep water bends are.
