    I grew up calling green sunfish war mouth perch because thats what my granddad and dad called them.

    A warmouth is a different fish all together. I have heard green sunfish called bugle mouth perch. Go figure

    Warmouth is a different fish than a Green Sunfish, but they both end up called Warmouth, Google-eye and Rock Bass.

    And yes, Crappie are called White Perch and Black Perch in some areas.
