I think what it boils down to is what Pappa talked to me about and that is that with every lake in the State rising like a big dog right now, none of us are going to see much about Crappie until the waters settle a bit. I'd be chasing Crappie regardless of the water levels if I was mobile. From past experience, rising water means lack of posts on Crappie. I think most of us can appreciate someone from our board that gets out and has any kind of success. I like the Saugeye pics from Thunderbird to boot. I'd like to see some honker Bluegills from Eucha or Spavinaw too.
I really enjoy reading the tales of TC and the people he invites out on his rig as most of them will tug at your heart strings.
We have a lot of extremely good hearted people that frequent this board and many have become great friends. I encourage ALL members of the Oklahoma board to fish like there is no tomorrow and share your stories with all of us.
I myself caught about a 55# Flathead last summer on a 1/16th oz jig. Goober gave me one heck of a fight. I can't remember if I posted apic of it or not, but it was sure fun. Then I let her go.
