Have you heard that there has been a huge increase in fishing license sales? All by young (and some not so young) men and boys. It seems that crapA's post has gone viral. They all want to catch one of those "fish".

Very nice images guys EB
Keep them coming- been an entertaining and informative thread! Thanks.
Gen 2 touch is amazing
Screen Shot
First pic is the side scan, bottom left corner is a school of crappie right near the corner of a dock. Second picture is the sonar of the same school and the 3rd picture is the result of one fun day! We ended up with 17 crappie and 8 Blue cats all off of Ultralights and jigs. In the sonar picture the fish under the school of crappie are the catfish.Attachment 183499Attachment 183500Attachment 183501
Lookin' good, Kirby.
Great post. Appreciate the explanations.
I could be wrong but, there are four different screens shown. The top is a down scan shot, the second is a side image shot, the third is 2D sonar and the forth is your great looking catch?
The bottom left of the side scan appears to be shad (or at least baitfish) with crappie mixed towards the bottom. Cats are in the middle and towards the left top.
That's what I'm thinking but, I have been wrong before!
20' hump in 30 something feet of water. What are they?
crapAlicious, what is this?!! you post lifesize pictures of mermaids and drowning babes, then microscopic pictures of importance. then ask, what is this? Just going off the other pictures you post, and not able to see the image well, I would call this the top of a Troll's head!! haha
LoL! When I tried downloading it, this is how it came out on the post. I know.. I know.. I joke around too much, then when I ask a valid question, everyone is hesitant to answer! I fished this hump for 15 minutes and never got a bite. Wondering if they might be big gizzard shad?
Clearer Pic
My bad, the first pic is actually the Down and Side scan image together. They are not separate pictures.
On the bottom left of the Side scan that is a school of crappie, there are usually 4 schools in that area but I could only find the one that day.
Some scanning pics. Not much, but something to look at.
What am I looking at here?
My buddy asked if we could put one close to some natural structure. I put right on top of a log. 4 cement blocks dropped directly over it. Spot on target.
Great looking condo and brush. What lake?
I like where you put all of them as well. Going to be very productive come spring and summer.
I am not sure about the Condos. I have my reservations if they will produce fish. So i put some out, and will report back. I know the wood will. These were lost in the Kaw Sea.
Yeah I heard once the moss builds up on the PVC they are even better than fresh PVC. PVC is what I will be putting out this year. Will be my 1st time dropping structure. Plan on doing it often.
I've heard that too.
Sanding PVC is a must to get the algae to grow faster. Honey Hole Trees from Pond King are pre sanded. You can save time and role PVC limbs on concrete to get faster roughing results. Yes the heat from May -September help faster algae growth too.
FYI..take a rag and some acetone and wipe the finish off the pipe. Lot easier than sanding. You'll feel the surface start to get soft and sticky.
Gman
Gamblinman, where have you been? Are you living in Texas? Been missing you up here at Oologah.

Crap Top
Field day IF they did not have lock jaw! LOL
It's a cool image cA but what are we looking at. Looks like a new set- maybe cedar with no fish?
I agree C2. A picture with no explanation
If you could take another picture of it, but no so close. to maybe include the coordinates, I believe i could help you with a more positive ID within the next week. :)
Perhaps there's no hope for Ciller and CG. I would think a monkey would look at it and grab up a rod.
I would have surrounded that blob with every buoy in my boat and spent most of the day getting hung up on it- whatever it is. If I caught one keeper off of it I would throw out all 3 anchors and call my wife to ask her to bring me a sleeping bag and my jammies. I invented " begging them to bite". But I still wonder what the heck it is but at least now I know that part of it is fish.
