Fished Keystone with IkenI today. WT was 62-63 to start with at 10 AM; late afternoon found some 71 degree water. Clarity was good for Keystone at about 2 ft north of the 412 bridge. Floyd managed one 11.5 inch male black crappie. I blanked out on crappie but did score on sand bass.
If anyone has any suggestions for Keystone, I am open to what to do!
But we had a good time!

If I moved to Eufaula, I would probably put that lake in decline just like I did Keystone. EB and a whole bunch of other guys would not like that at all, lol. So guess I will stay put here!
Why dont you try Skiatook, its not too far from you, I hear good things about fishing up the creeks.
I am going to make a trip soon up one of those creeks, I want to try it before the spawn is over. From what I can tell so far, the boat ride may be an issue. It seems it may be a long slow plow through timber to get to prime areas. I guess you just have to get in there and see how clear of trees the center of the channel is. Either that or talk Ledge into going and he can just run the trees over.

Fishers, I'm not sure which creeks you are thinking about; the creeks that I am familiar with are north of hwy 412. They are not clear of timber but are easily navigable, especially with the water level around normal. Can't speak to south of 412, but don't recall any problems there either. Good luck and let me know how you do!
I've fished the Arkansas river/north side of Keystone several times with no luck at all. I'm sure they are catching them in mud creek from the bank but not sure.
9805, seems like mud creek about sundown, is the best on the north side at this time. Thanks for the update, at least I'm not the only one getting blanked!
Woodworker I have caught them in the first cove north of 412 bridge on the west side, you used to be able to park on the dead end service road and walk a trail back to the cove, real good fishing off the flat rocks. Also the first cove on the east side where the wildlife dept ropes off for the eagles, you might check and see if they have opened up that cove. Also there are a couple of real long coves just off the highway going into Mannford headed west, you park off hwy and walk over railroad track and you are there, used to be really good during spawn.Hope that will help. There are some slabs in Keystone.
