Ciller - are you worshipping "raalphhhhh"
This is a picture from yesterday. Water cooled off to 59 in the flats! It was 74 Saturday. Took me a little while to find the fish as they had pulled out a little. Had 55. Drnip, I have a livewell (or playpin) they all stay in for the day. Its pretty comfortable and roomy for them. They feel like their in a tight "scool" I think. At the end of the day, I pull them all out onto the floor, cut their tails off as they go back in. That has them ready to clean in 30 min.
Had me worried for a minute that they sat out in the sun all day!
What does cutting their tails off do, bleed em?
As one who has actually played in the playpen with Ledges "box fish" and then participated in turning it into the Red Sea I can testify that it bleeds them very effectively making for an easier cleanup and whiter- milder meat in my opinion. I always hung mine up before cutting off the tail but I think putting them back in the water may make for a more thorough job of it. They pretty much look like vampire victims by the time TC revs up his chainsaw to fillet em.
Very Nice - Those will make some good catfish nuggets
Revving up his chainsaw to filet them. LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
