My dad boated this fish without me Friday! 59.8lbs! I went saturday with a couple buddies that have not been. We caught these smaller fish, 31lbs was the big fish for the morning. They had to leave at 1. I cleaned 17 for them and had 6 throw backs. I let them off, but just could not reload my boat with all that good bait still on board. I made a long run to new water. The first stop I made, 7 fish in 45 min. Thought that was a little slow, so went looking. The next stop, I hit 28 fish in 2 hours and seemed that i lost that many because there was too much going on for only me! It was probably one of the fastest trips i have had in a long time!

saturday
Took some friends out Saturday. The bite was pretty intense. We quit at 2:30 with 74 fish. We had a little chop on the water, which i think helped.

You disgust me and I LIKE IT!

Good job Ledge!! Man that's a lot of slime! ROFL!

I always wondered where you put those huge things after caught. How long do let them sit out like that and are they still good? I imagine they are still good but just don't know how long you want a fish to sit out of the water dead for.

I've seen catfish still breathing after a three hour drive in the bed of the truck!

LOL, that is true. Forgot those dang things don't want to die. Haven't fished for them since I was a kid on my grandpa's farm in Coffeeville in the 80's. I remember he use drive a nail through their head and then make us skin them with these pliers. They made this God awful noise that I can't describe.

Ledge, nice pictures of the " little chop". On my boat we call those whitecaps right before we go hunting sheltered water. I agree with Reaper that those pictures of all that slimy meat were disgusting- and I sure wish I had been there to throw up over the side.
