They put in a new heated fishing dock over at Cypress Cove on Fort Gibson, haven't fished it but it sure looks nice.

No good reports for Lake Carl Blackwell yet. The bite is very slow and very few keepers being caught. Hoping it changes soon.

Yes.
Any reports on Hudson marina? Ready to get away from new Mexico and get a line wet for Xmas.
I don't have any current info on fishing at Hudson Marina but I did stop by there a few months back, I think it was in July; man was I shocked!!! I couldn't believe how run down they have let the place get, I mean it was to the point of being unsafe to walk the dock in many places for fear of falling through. They had patched some spots but I'm surprised the GRDA has not shut'em down. I used to fish there exclusively in the 80's and 90's in fact that is the last place that I saw my father alive, we fished together there one night and couple days later he passed away. Anyway I sure hated to see the shape it has gotten into, I'm sure it's been tough on the owners to do much with business being slow but now It would take a major investment to do a total rebuild like they did at Cypress to get much business headed back there way. The thing is most of the public docks on Hudson that I know of have closed down, and you'd think that would be a prime spot for new marina.
I hear ya, it's pretty rough down there. You should have seen it after the floods. There's actually been a few people I know that has fallen through the rotten boards on the far dock going towards the lake. I've wondered myself about grda stepping in and shutting it down for safety concerns. The owner actually started a dock building business, eventually I think he will do some upkeep and get the place back I. Shape but it's the funds that are hindering the process I believe.
Lonnie84.. You may have ran into my grandpa at Hudson Marina if you fished there in the 80s and 90s. Most people called him Popeye, his real name is Paul littlefield
The name Littlefield sure rings a bell, can't say I remember anyone by the name of Popeye but it's been so many years ago now. If he fished their regularly I'm sure I probably met him a few times. We mainly fished at night out on the long pier next to the lake during the warmer weather, and of course in the dock in cold weather; I have slept many a nights in that dock with a pole in 1 hand.
Salt Creek Marina (formerly Keyport Marina) on Keystone has new owners and is really nice. Tim Adams is putting a lot of effort and $$ into making it a good fishing experience. Oh yeah, they carry the new 7' Huckabee Dingo rod and Redneck Rubber products.
