I agree with crappiepappa, but I would suggest early in the morning as the action slows by mid morning

Take him to Eufaula marina. Heat, room, warm food, and can catch some fish. Easy access for challenged folks

Which marina are you guys referring to? Are you talking about the old Fountainhead State Park Marina?
That's the one.
Thanks for the advice Crappiepapa.
It's open dinobot but no heat or electric yet. I pulled my boat up next to it last month on a warm weekend and it is sitting in 19' of water. They hung trees in it from the local Christmas tree farm last month. My lake house is only a mile from there so I check on it periodically. We fished the new marina slips last weekend and caught a few dinks, nothing to impress and the bite was slow.
Fished Claremore dock today only 2 keepers, dinks & shad. Other fishermen caught maybe 6 sandbass

I'll leave this thread as a sticky for about another month, after that I unstick it and will dig it back up next year or archive it and start another next winter.
Reaper, Where Fish come to Fry
Went to Molly browns dock last Saturday. Brought home 16 with most in the 1/2-3/4 lb range but they sure did taste good!
Way to go Longan! Same well as always?
