Guess they lost my # George..Will give em that I guess...Heck as long as they will leave the ramps open I wouldn't care if it was mowed or not. But I guess I can see their point too with having everything destroyed by kids and young adults too I guess..Don't want to single any one age group you know. Just an unconvenience for us fisherman...but then again aren't we the only ones that count...lol...Ranger

Was by the Verdigris river by Mollys Landing and they had removed the barriers. Several vehicles were parked by the picnic tables. Did not see no boat Trailers however. Am not sure if they have opened this area but it looked like it.

I think that was one that was to remain open.

Fished yesterday, putting in at Bluff Landing which is open again. Nine hours yielded two crappie and an assortment of trash fish. Saw lots of shad everywhere and fished minnows and jigs from the bank to 21 fow. Lots of boats out but very few crappie being caught. Highlight was fixing my water pump with a piece of weedeater string. Now if I can just figure out how to keep the gas line flowing....

Afraid it's true. Some are closed while just the boat ramps in others are open. Here's a map. Rec Area Closures

Hey guys, there is a gentleman from the Wagoner area that has started a petition to send to our congressman about trying to get Afton Landing reopened. I have dropped off some of the petition forms at B&T bait and tackle, T N T Archery, Larry Smith Marine, and Merle's One Stop. Anyone that can drop by one of these locations and sign this would be greatly appreciated.
