The ramp at port 33 (hwy 412) and the ramp at coal creek (just north of the nav channel east of hwy 69) are still open which will get you on the water on both sides of l&d 18 and I think the ramp in billy creek is still open if your up for that adventure.

My thoughts are everyone is doing their part in helping with the shortfall such as my children which have Government jobs and doing the stay home with no pay thing as they have been told, now what about our Washington Rip Raff will they drop a few dollars to do their part..heck no..they just keep spending..we need a good spring house cleaning as I see it......just sayin.....Ranger
The first money to get cut should be the politicians. Cut their pay, their benefits and their perks and you'd see cooperation like never before. We'd probably have a balanced budget in 3 days or less. And that goes for everyone from the White House to the State House.

[QUOTE=kdh243;2276972]OkieDon it has to do w the sequester from the government. From what I know they are shutting the parks down for a month. If the funding is available to open them they will reopen. If the funding is not available the parks are gonna be closed indefinitely. It would help for everyone to contact the govt officials and express their concerns. Here are their numbers:
    Tom Coburn 202-224-5754 or 405-231-4941
    Jim Inhofe 202-224-4721 or 405-608-4381
    James Birdenstine 202-225-2211 or 918-935-3222
    Kim David 405-521-5590
    Wade Rousselot 405-557-7388

Well I called all of our govmit officials and except for Coburn's office they all said my call was the first they had heard about this. Yesterday morning they all promised to research it and call me back so naturally I have been camped by my phone ever since.( insert crickets chirping here) Guess I may as well go back to work so I can pay my public servants salaries now.

They need to at least figure out a way to leave the ramps open.

To be fair, Bridenstines office did call me back. Said since it was a federal matter nothing they could do. No further information on reopening.
