Well we decided to target bass. Fished the north bank (Cottonwood Campground point) from around 6:30 to 8:30 and caught 2 between 1.5 and 3 lbs. (and we missed a few) on a buzzbait and spook in some laid down trees. After that we hit the south point next to the damn. Threw on a white crank and got into some striper, 7 total largest 4.5 lbs. When the bite died off there we hit the flooded timber north of 33rd with jigs and worms. Nothing at all. Then it got a little hot so we called it a day. Next trip out there will be for crappie and I'll look for some deeper brush piles. Are the fish attractor/brushpiles on the owrb map accurate?
