    did that reel slide up and down that cork grip or im i seeing things and how it do that thats kool if i could get away with it i would drive out to see you tomarrow Lip Rippers so i could have it to use for the weekend

    Yes. C.J. it did move. Thats the why Tennesee grips are so versatile and functional.

    CJ, I have a small rod with that type handle. If you want to see how it works, I'm going to TBird tomorrow, (Wed.) , when I get thru with work around 2pm.

    I have another order of them coming now. But I wanted to try one out before getting too carried away, and I can testify after cutting the gimbal butt off the end of the blank it was hard to cut through with my Dremmel tool!!! There's no way I could order the blank and guides {12} and build that length rod for $50.00 bucks.

    hey Lip RIPPERS i love that new rod man i think its the best one in my arsonal and i dont think ill be going back to anything less than tennsee grips i really like them also how much would you charge to me to put them on my other rod its a 6'6" pro tourney med-light rod

    Thanks for the feedback Josh, that's about all we run on our rods as well. On that rod you probably should run a 11" or 12" grip to get your balance. I can convert it for $25.00 and that rod will fish way better for ya.

    I use Wally Marshall Series Rods from BPS...have had very good luck with them both trolling/spider riggin and jigging. Lots of backbone, pulling in a 12lb blue cat with my 14 footer no problem.
