Talk about typical weather guys....the weather stunk today...lots of waves out there and little to show for it....did not mark fish like i did the last trip out...tried shallow and deep water with no luck...I fished around the store and only caught one. Those guys that are fishing the little river marina are still catching a few...water is still around 47 in the main body...i did find 48.9 in 8 fow in one of my favorite spots, but no fish.... you can find 50 degree water way up in some of the coves if you hunt for it....i sure hope things happen soon, i don't know how much longer i can stand this long winter!

Went out Wed. and had all kinds of weather! Started chilly, overcast and some fog, ended with sunshine, cool, and lots of wind all day long. Marked fish at the mouth of about every cove we tried. Fished up and down both arms, tried around the dam but the wind was a bit strong so we didnt stay there long. Water temp was 44 when we launched and the warmest we found was 48.7. Fish had severe lock jaw as we caught absolutly nothing! but we still had a good time. We need this weather to settle down! We did see several boats out and the few we talked to were just like us...no bites.

My son, Stephen, caught this one in the Twin Bridges area. We caught a few more but nothing this big. Earlier in the week we caught a couple of nice White Bass.

    Hey guys,

The wife went out this eve. I think this eve is about the 5th or 6th time weve been out in the past 3 weeks. Been skunked everytime til today! We finally convinced one about 11 inches long to bite over around twin bridges on a jig. It was about 8 feet of water and he was probably 1 ft off the bottom. There were some guys wading the rip rap and they had one. We talked to one other boat who had been out all day and caught one. Give em til the end of the week and a few will be up. Water around the bridges was 54-55 deg. Anyone have any good tricks on finding sandies?

My son and I went out yesterday. Fished from 9:30am until dark. We caught about 15. About 10 crappie and about 5 White (Sand) bass. Caught a few down by Twin Bridges in about 14 fow but most were caught off a point in about 30 fow. In both places we were just a few cranks of the bottom. I'm sure they will start moving into shallower water soon but for now they seem to still be a little deeper.

PS Thanks for the welcome. Glad to be here.
