    Not sure how competent you are in identifying wildlife but perhaps this will help you out. This does not pass as a black mountain lion, or a jaguar for that matter:

    No just kidding, I am sure you did see a large black jaguar mountain lion hybrid tiger (liger). It was probably on your way back from catching that 12lb crappie.
