I haven't been out. If you're going to be at camp Thursday or Saturday, I'll get with you. I finally finished the paint job on the Harley I started in October of '12. I've been straightening up the shop as well. Crappie Chatt and them other Kansas boys sent us a gift via the Verdigris. It's called Lot-O-Watta.

landins up north
these are some of the landings from yesterday north of Blue Creek for Okhawg. I love the gift of the Verdigris! sorry i could not rotate the pics. I tried and tried! I could not put in at East side because the water was too high. I put in at Allan's Point. Water temp was 59! was 70 on Saturday!

I didn't know you could put in at Allan's Point anymore. I drove around some the other day, East and Sunny Sides are out. Vada Point, you have to back a good ways, but usable. I'm planning on the am at Spencer, but will check on Allan's Point.

the spencer creek ramp will be open also. The one on the north side. I do not know its name. turn at Deens convenient store and go south. allans point is bad if you have a south wind and then you have to cross the lake. I would go down by the dam. water clarity is going to be better.

I went to Spencer today. Water was way clearer in the timber to the east than the main lake. Intended to fish for cats and then try crappie, but it took longer to find shad, so I stayed with cats. Caught 3 cats 1.5-5 lbs in 30 mins, then nothing else, fished 2 hours +. It was a beautiful day though.

You could not find brush piles from goose to the dam for shad last Saturday. Wednesday, however, I could not find enough shad to throw at from the bridge and north. I didn't go south to look.
Trophy King
Finally got out after months of being on dry land. Couldn't buy a bite. Caught a few sandies. Had 1 nice crappie, but dang thing slipped out of my grip and back in the water he went. Shad were in huge schools. I had them from the surface down to 10-15 foot below the boat. I am sure everything was full from shad and didn't want jigs or minnows. Hoping to get the boat out more often, I have no idea where the fish are anymore.
