Boy December is the month they start firing up on Oologah. Those brush piles ought to be hot! Hopefully our little tournament trail can show you some of those 2 lb slabs. EB

That would be great. I sure would like to get a limit of these critters. Feel like I need to sell boat and go back to bass fishing.

Oologah is all about the brushpiles, you have to be on the right ones. There are piles all over the lake, in fact I have never seen a lake with so many in it! EB

Thought I'd show a few slabs me and the wife caught a week or so ago and stir the pot a lil bit before the December Oologah tournament. The pictures aren't the best in the world, took em on my phone. Nobody has posted any pictures in a long time. Caught these on a brush pile I put in myself, back during the summer. The wife fished with minnows and I fished with jigs. I out caught her 3 to 1, but she held her own. We didn't catch one dink all day, all keepers. Come on guys come out an fish the tournament and lets have some fun.

Actually those are really good pictures. Thanks for posting them. Those sows don't look like they missed many meals. Where did you say that brush pile is ?

Nice Pictures Kevin, your ole Dad needs you to put him on some slabs! He told me he will double check the boat on the trailer. No, I'm kidding I felt so bad for him, but the last time we talked he got everything back going again. I really enjoy fishing with him. EB

Yep it sure scared my dad when his axil broke on his boat trailer doing 60 or 65. He called me as soon as he got pulled over and said he had to clean out his drawers. He was so lucky he didn't have a bad wreck. I love fishin with him, he's forgot more about crappie fishin than I'll ever know. It's amazing to watch him fish. If I can put him on some fish during the tournament, I'm sure he'll give me another fishin lesson. Brian he sure enjoyed fishin with you on Gibson, he said you schooled him. You must be the bomb dude.

Ciller I'll show you were that pile is after the tournaments over. I like to trade one for one, but I'm easy, we can always put one out together sometime.

Yeah Kevin he didnt like that too much, me catching more fish than him! He said he wants another shot at it, LOL! He is a good fisherman, him and all his ole buddies, Carl Don, Ronnie, and James! Those guys give me good reports, got stay in touch with those retired fisherman.

He said that deal scared him to death, Larry Russell said he came in the shop and was still shaking a little from it. I was glad he didnt wreck. Heck one time me a ole Slabman drove 30 miles and did not realize that the boat was not hooked to the truck. "Umm we lost the boat somewhere along the way", from Bug tussell to Crowder! But we went back and found it in the ditch. Got lucky that day! LOL EB
