I'd be more than happy to take you out this summer. Won't cost you a dime either. Doug gets around more on the lake as a whole as he's got a lot nicer boat. I hold to certain areas simply to avoid the wind. Kevin (Whisperer) is another that can put you on some fish. Oologah Crappie can be finicky depending on the water level and whether it's on the rise, or fall. Fishing this years spawn was extremely tough as the lake has been in yo-yo mode thanks to the heavy rains this Spring. I didn't get much of a chance to check things out as I've been busy moving and trying to make a living. I now live about 400' from the Talala Creek boat ramp which completely breaks my heart.I'll soon be able to get back in the groove of filling the freezer. It's a year round thing for me.
I've helped a few folks on this board over the years on Oologah and have no problem helping others, especially if there's kids involved.
