Yeah slab daddy I've been on them pretty hard for the past month or so. I've been getting out around 2-3 days during th week. Here's the kicker, I haven't been able to get out until the around 3:30p and fishing until 7:30p. Yeah baby! Now you wanna talk about hot. I'm sweating now thinking about it. Jig fishing is the only way I fish and it's been on fire. I've been throwing a pumpkin seed bobby garland stroller. Catching majority of my fish around 8-12ft deep. Went out 8/1 around 4:45 and fished until 7:30 and caught 17 nice fish. I threw back probably double that. Summer fishing is usually one of my favorite times of year to fish due to a few reasons, but this year it's been tough even for a fishing-junkie like myself with this incredible heat. Here is a pic of the 8/1 catch. Sorry I was too lazy to take them out of the basket.
