Put in at Brookin Cove and the first 4 cast I had 4 in the boat. Within 15 minutes I had doubled up what we had on the southern end. About 5 pm I switched over to cork jigging and we found a small pocket that we started to really catch some. By the end of the day I had managed a limit of crappie. Now as for my partner he didn't fair so well. He had 10 for a total on the day. We used roadrunners, red head, pumpkin and chartreuse triple ripple. Then cork jigging it was a red head with a yum beavertail black and pink. Depth set at 2'. Fish were in 6' of water off the bank about 15'.
All fish caught were males with the exception of two that were female. Now the one thing I noticed about the eggs in them is that they were white. I have never seen white eggs before. Does anyone have an idea as to why this might be.
