Sandies are ranging up to the two pound mark. . . Catching from sunrise to around eleven. . . .some stripers are now finally being caught next to the wall. . . If you're set up for that. . . Anyhow if you are just having the fishing blues and needing to catch something go catch you hundred Sandies not my favorite to eat but sure good fighters.

Well I was able to take Crappiepappa and Ftgibson boy yesterday. Needless to say it was just one of those days were nothing wanted to cooperate. 1. The store was out of minnows. 2. The boat was out of oil. 3. The oil alarm kept going off. Then lastly the starting battery was ran all the way down at the end of the day. But the FISH wanted to bite. We spider rigged minnows then casted and dragged jigs in 12-15ft. Ended up keeping 40 rigging and 18 casting. We a total of 58. Even with all the boat problems we had a blast. They were buying so fast that Crappiapappa could NOT get all 4 poles out baited. He got the full experience of spider rigging. EB

Unfortunately no fishing for me this weekend. Apparently the storm on Friday afternoon brought through either strong straight-line winds or a small tornado. Our dock got turned 90 degrees and it snapped our walkway in half. Luckily, the 40' section of walkway was still attached on one end. We had our dock guy get us straightened back up on Saturday and re-attach our walkway. We lost 3 deck panels on our walkway though, so it's still a little difficult to get down the walkway. But the water is still too high to get to the dock without using the pedal boat. I think summer 2015 is one that I'd like to forget. Name: dock - storm 1_lr.jpg

Good heavens Steve. What's up with all the damage this year? I can understand you wanting to forget summer 2015. So sorry for all your mishaps. Hopefully things will be better soon.

Anyone besides me wonder is there is any connection between EB's post (Alan & Johnny) and Steve's post of walkway damage? LOL I just kinda struck me odd that the two posts followed each other. Just kidding Alan and Johnny!

I tell you what, if you want to have fun and learn spider rigging, EB is the man to seek out! I didn't have my third of 4 rods in the water when I caught my first one and barely had that one re-baited, ( yes Merle I was using minnows), when WHAM! Had a blast but what I can't figure out is if Jeff pushed Brian overboard or if he fell overboard! Lol. Actually Brian jumped in at the back of the boat and we just kept on catching. Great day with two great guys. I will tell you that before my boat gets wet again, it WILL be rigged!

Crappiepappa ... Will you be changing your name to " Spider-Man"?
