Patience my friend, you will get your chance at crappie camp. You must have had a long day driving! Glad you got your motor.

Fished mid lake area today from about 3 to 6:30, ended up keeping 12 caught several dinks. We was dipping around wood from about 2 fow out to 10 fow. Some females still had eggs, color didn't matter today as long as it had something bright.

Pulled jigs on the rap. Kept 21 good ones, lots of bigger fish. Three best were from 1.5 to 1.6 Lbs. I used tandem black/pink and black/Chart Yum wooly bees with 1/4 ounce heads. I found two distinct patterns, one group of fish at 10 feet deep in 12 feet of water on breaks. The other, scattered fish 4-5 foot deep in 4 to 15 feet of water. The bigger fish mostly came from 10 feet deep. First time I have doubled-up 1/4 ounce heads with the Meatdraggas, I have to say I was well pleased. My older rods turned into floppy McNoodles pulling that much weight. Name: IMG_20140517_174606.jpg

Humor is good, cc. Almost as good as seeing your own hand in a picture like Fishers'.
