Coming all the way from Fort Worth to camp with the family and hopefully enjoy some great Eufaula fishing. We are camping at site N27 Hwy 9 landing. I've got a little bass buster I'll take my dad and brothers out on one at a time. We'll also be fishing from shore. Looks like we'll be fishing some jigs and shad around stumps and such. Any other tips you guys could throw this way? We'll also have some poles out for catfish at night. So looking forward to this weekend!

You'll have good protection from the south wind over there, good for using your boat. Good luck.

I have been fishing at Eufaula 2 times. The second time I had trouble launching my boat on the ramp at Juniper Point. What do you lake veterans recommend as far as boat ramps? Good condition and plenty room to park?

Fished the Crowder and Rock Creek area today til 2pm and had 31 keepers with several at and over 1 1/2lbs and all well over 10". Had like 10 at 10" or less and threw them back to grow up alil...left there and headed for Arrowhead and unloaded at 2:30 and fished til 5pm. Ended up with 44 keeper crappie and a good sunburn. It was Yum Wolly Bee's today in pumkin/chart and lime/chart with 1/4oz head..mine and unpainted. WT was a balmy 76 when I unloaded and got up to 79 before I left Crowder area. Now Arrowhead was already hot when I got there and was 80 degrees at the ramp. Drink alot of water when the temps rise at or above 90 degrees fellers and gals that will make your day on the water alot more enjoyable. Fish were in 2' to 5' DOW and relating to wood and rocks......Ranger

Panfish, If your talking in the Bugtussel area, well its Bugtussel city ramp, not a good place to pull your boat up to the bank and its kinda bad if there is a hard south wind or north if your by yourself. But thats about all you have done than way. Hwy 31 Landing at Elm point isnt bad, Hickory point up in Gaines. It really depends on where your going to fish.....Ranger

I'm thinking about driving down to Eufaula and find some place to stay or just pitch a tent for the weekend. The lakes up here are all badly flooded and it sounds like Eufaula is the only place that's somewhat stable. It's about a 2 hr drive from here, but it may be my only chance of getting some crappie before the spawn ends. I'll probably just work from the banks. I don't know the area, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
