Thanks Fishers for the info. I need to try up by the bank at our dock. The development has put in some small trees in buckets a few years ago when the lake level was really low. Last year they were slaying them up between those trees and the shore -- dragging a jig under a cork about 8-10" down. Sometimes I'm just a little too stubborn (and lazy). I enjoy just sitting in the shade on the dock in my chair with the rods sitting on the dock while I consume a nice cold one. When I see the line take off, I set my cold one down and get the fish. If the fishing is slow, well that just means I get to enjoy a few more cold ones. I need to get up and around earlier and try them in the morning also.

Females are hitting hard too, but I don't know if they are spawning because I haven't cleaned any of the females from today's catch. Will hitter again in the morning and clean fish tomorrow evening. Only bad thing today was the wind and it kept blowing up my skirt and exposing my pretty red panties.
Stink,, have you ever caught any in the back of that creek back behind the arrowhead marina,,just looking for a couple spots that may be out of the wind in the arrowhead area

    Thanks

No, but only because I have never fished that area. But it will be a good place, I see guys in boats fishing and catching them back there all the time. I fish close to the ramp and have done fair over the last 3 years, but sure would like to get back there in that cove. Giver a try and let me know.

Went to hugo and it didn't play out so ran back to the big E. We started fishing at 4pm and by 8 pm had 36 keepers and a lot of throwbacks. Method was cork and jig (yum beaver tail pum/chart) water temp 70 females were still on the banks. We didn't have nearly the same amount of large fish as Saturday and Sunday.
