    any way a guy could catch some skip jack below the dam this time of year?i never fished there before or for skips and just was wondering?..

    You can catch some really nice size skip jacks below the low water dam in Tulsa. Fish for them the same as you would crappie. I call them baby tarpons. They put up a serious fight. I typically fish for them to use as striper bait.

    Boon, idk if you can catch any down there this time of year! But I can tell you how, throw two crappie jigs out from the bank let them sink maybe 3 ft then pop them and reel as fast as you can back. If they are there they will jump on those jigs! EB

    I was able to get out on the north end of the lake for a couple of hours before dark yesterday. Fished probably 6 brush piles in 8-20ft. Ended up catching 12 fish 3 nice ones the biggest was a 1.4lb. EB
