YES Welcome to the board guys! New to the Eufaula area, guys what does the sudden cold days due to the crappie bite and if it is slow and scattered like I am thinking how many days of warmer temps does it take for the fish to respond to that. I am going to fish it friday and was thinking of putting in at #9 and working my way south.
Wareagle69 and I went out and fished the north end yesterday. Got 2 bites caught 1, water was muddy 1-3 inch vis, but we did see some 59 degree water. It's really hit miss up here right now. EB
EB. Sounds like my Saturday. Caught a nice one double dippin' just as we started out. Thought it was going to be a good day. that was all I caught for about 4 hours of fishing and moving around. We didn't see anyone catching much.Quote:

Slow yesterday, only caught one dink, then again today........really slow, only one bump and nothing else. These fronts passing through one after another have killed it for the time being. But don't get discouraged, they will return.
I hope it gets better by tomorrow guys. Got a day off and looking forward to seeing that big ole sunrise on the lake instead of heading to work.

Brought home 47 from the north end. Fished from 730-1230. Caught some toads! bf a pound 15 ounces. Caught 5-11 ft down most on black/char and beetlejuice slab slay ers. Fish are moving to the backs of creeks and coves
