Headed to crowder in the mourning . Sounds like I need to get some big baits to make it happen.
I just talked t a couple of guys that fished West of 69 in Rock creek that cleaned 42 that weighed 1.5 to 2lbs each.
caught them in 3fow on Blk and chartreuse 3in slab slayers lights out!
They made it to the web site tonight so I ordered a few. Too bad they won't make it here by Monday for my Sardis trip but I'll get to try them out at Eufaula later in the month.
We fished for 2 hours tonight from 8 - 10 on the dock with minnows and a rising barometer. Not a single thing. So tomorrow afternoon during the time when the moon is "underfoot". Hopefully we'll have better luck.
I've been jigging the brush here at Mill Creek pretty much every day for the past few weeks and aside from the day where I caught 3, it's been nothing. I don't really know if it's the weather conditions or just the water level starting so low and then rising so rapidly, but they're just not coming up to the banks here yet.
Thanks for the mill creek report. I fish ther a lot, jus havnt made it out yet. Guess I havnt missed anything but the practice lol

Fished blocker bridge and crowder islands today . Wind wouldn't let us fish north side of bridge where the fish were . Managed to catch 8 keepers after helpful stranger helped me get my anchor un hung from the rocks at the bridge. Fish are still not on the bank yet
Fished Gentry Creek today. Blanked. Nobody was catching any.
Is it just me. . . But has anyone else ever noticed that the bite seems to stop completely right before they hit the bank? Maybe this is the week?
