It's come up about a foot so far.
Guys the lake level is ok for crappie fishing. I was catching 30 or so a day when the water was up 14ft. In fact the high water has helped the water vis on the Gaines creek arm. I haven't seen it look this good in 3 years. I know the Canadians and Deep fork are muddy. But we are catching fish down south. As for guiding catfish I guided for them when I started 12 years ago. Lots of work when you're catfishing. EB
Yeah water is not too muddy south of 9a. . . . Wonder how much it's going to come up? Shawnee got hammered again
Just got to eufaula. . . Wow! Way up and still coming worst I have seen Seminole in a long time. . . Forget Gaines arm being clear the south Canadian took over and it matches the rest of the lake
I took Dave Brown and his grandson Evan yesterday. We launched at 12:30 and picked the rods up at 4:00. Ended up keeping 37 with a big fish at 2.09. The water vis was 1ft vis and the temp was 83-85. We were pulling jigs on main lake points in 10-13ft. EB
Fished with my wife yesterday afternoon for 3 hours on the south end pulling main lake points. It was a catch and release day for us just getting out of the house after a full week of Dr Appointments and elderly parents. We started at 3:30 and called it quits at 6:30. Her clicker said 35 keepers with a big fish of 1.78. 12' seemed to be the depth and pulling at .75-.85 mph by GPS. Had a great time spending some needed time out with my beautiful wife. Never saw EB yesterday and already knew he had a trip with Dave so we stayed away from the banks he was fishing.......Ranger
I was just out on my Deck looking at the water. I live just east across the lake from Eufaula Cove marina. There is a point out there at the entrance to the bay. I notice this green line floating in the water moving north with the waves. I looked through a scope and sure enough it was there. It is about 150 yards long and about 10 to 20 yards wide and green.
It looks like some kind of slick like maybe diesel or something. You think any one should be notified of it or just let it go? Any ideas of what it might be?
Great Trip with EB on Eufaula Friday 19June15! Perfect weather (but hot). Evan had a ball learning a new fishing technique and catching Crappie (me too!) .... Family Fish Fry on Saturday then back to Colorado mountains for Evan.
Camping area and boat ramp across from number nine now closed again. . . Water over the road
