Hopefully you can find where the slabs have been hiding. I'm just waiting for the water temp to come up so they'll come back into the shallows near our dock - another 3-4 weeks probably.

fished Sunday at Hickory point from 10-5pm and didn't get a nibble. Another friend of mine was fishing and they only caught one. we ran all over but it was the same thing in every spot... fish on the screen but couldn't get a hit. Most people I talked to had the same experience as I did. Sounds like night fishing right now is the way to go..
Fished yesterday using minnows from my buddy's dock, not even a nibble. They're still out in deep water.
Tried Graves Creek area for my first time this evening until dark with a couple of friends. WT peaked at 56 degrees. Deepest water I found was about 12 feet. The majority of the fish we caught were suspended from as little as 18" deep to 5' deep in brush. Caught a mixed bag of males and females, blacks and whites. I had never seen a black crappie come out of Eufaula. Had several. Pretty good evening run. Kept about 40 fish.
Was you using miiers or jigs? What color on jigs?
Glad to hear somebody found fish -- I was beginning to think they were all gone.
wow the temp jumped up pretty well i'm pretty sure it was mid 40s on sunday. congrats on finding the fish.. now please post a map with a big X so we can all share in the fun :)
We caught several nice one there a few weeks ago before the snow hit. We caught em in 10 fow fishing 1.5' deep w minnows in brush. Water temp at that time was 50 degrees. Was there last Friday ant water temp was 43 degrees and didn't even get a nibble. Should be good from here on out! Fingers crossed!
Hit up the creek last night. Ended with 32. Kept 25 good ones. 12 fow 18 in deep on minnows or black and chartreuse tube jigs. All outta 1 brush pile
