Had 43 today with some nice fish! Started at 8:00 and had 40 by noon! Good fish biting early! EB
Fished mid lake early til around noon and got bit 6 times and caught 5 of them. Dipping and Swimming jigs in woodpiles and standing timber. Elimanating water today early. Ran into Poncho (Racketan on the forum) around Blocker and had a very good visit with him on the water. What a nice feller so if you see him on the water be sure to say Hi. He will be in a White and Yellow Bass Cat with a Black Motor. Swell guy. After an uneventful morning I finally caught them in 3' to 10' this afternoon around stumps and laying wood in the water and ended up with 21. Nothing that I would want to bring to the scales though....Ranger
Fished today looking for some fish worthy of catching for Saturday..didn't find them today either. We weighed our biggest 7 and had 7lbs 4ozs.....not good enough. We did have 2 big fish come off at the boat and we would of netted them on Saturday so that would of made the weight alil better.....Ranger
Odie and I fished today as well, we kept 29 after throwing back 15 tgen we decided to keep some! We probably could have weighed 8.50lbs. We were fishing jigs and minnows around stumps and brush! We had a blast catching them today! EB
Well I started a report on Eufaula in 2008 and it was popular, so I guess I will start another one. Unless they tell me I can't, lol.
We fished last weekend a had had 15 keepers. The bite was pretty slow, but we had two big storms pass through, that was very much needed. Im sure a fire fighters and farmers prayers were answered last weekend. With cooler temps on the way the bite should get better. The fish will start relating more to the bottom, rip-rap, brush, and breaklines. EB
Glad to see you break the ice and get the big E on the board again!
Glad you gotter back up and running Brian. Been missing this thread.
