They are still dumping it. Went below the dam today. They are generating, and both rooster tails wide open. It has slowed down though.

Lake has held steady from 1008.35 to 1008.22 so they have leveled it off with the inflow.

The lake is back to as chocolate milk from end to end, when that much fresh water is pulled it brings the mud all the way to the dam.. Gonna be a while before this lake clears up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went catfishing yesterday and thought I would check a few crappie holes. Went over one area and it looked like it was loaded with fish. Went back this morning with my spider rig on the side of the boat and used 1/4 ounce drop shots rigged with a double jig tipped with shiners. Caught some nice fish. Tried straight jigs and caught a ton about hand size but no keepers. Bigger fish came from 10 to 14 fow. Lake is muddy but water temp has dropped to 84 deg.

Nice! When I was out Friday, water visibility at sarge was 2" at the Dam it was 4".
They shut the outflow to a trickle last night and kept it there until about noon today. I was hoping it would stay at the trickle to let it clear up, but its not.

Some friends went catfishing today and caught 37 from 7 - 15 pounds. They had fun, just wish I could have joined them.

Yea I'm done with the blues for awhile. Got tired of it. Gonna fish for crappie. Had to work yesterday to find good fish but as the lake clears and stays steady it will get a lot better. They are just releasing enough to keep the water off their millet so the level should stay the same if we don't get more flooding rains. I know the only way now to reach the river is by airboat.

Tim are they done planting? we seen the plane up there most of the weekend. Also wondered if you have tried rigging any of the timber in 5 fingers or the wooded cove across from noc. both appear to be full of timber and I am wondering if a guy could rig a few poles shallow through them with any luck?
