All comes down to preference. We like to fish jigs to but are not above using live bait when necessary. I know there's a lot of fellas that won't buy live bait and will use artificials 100% of the time. If I'm gonna go set in a boat in 30 deg weather, I'm gonna catch fish whether it's on live bait or jigs. Not to proud to use em.
