Fishers, a very popular spot on kaw is Washunga Bay Bridge. There is a campground that is right across from there with a launch and the camp Ground Host is named Daryl. Great guy. A lot of guys will fish the Rip rap along there and at times limit out on very large crappie. Another spot is Coon Creek and Bear Creek. Those also produce real good crappie. Watch out if you head up north and try and navigate the river coming into Kaw, you can be in a decent channel and then within seconds be in water less then a foot deep. I speak from experience on this one. If you enjoy catching Sandies, Washunga Bridge is usually good for that too. Maybe we will cross paths up there some day if I can break free from work long enough.
