Yes sir I remember that day very well! The Tracker Marine Manager hung that Z9 6 times on the trailer and we had to rock it sideways to get it back off. He finally threw his hands in the air and said I am sold! This is like loading the boat off and on a flat bed trailer!. When it comes home Danny Kirkendall is going to help me install a Kodiak Boat Buddy for Drive-On Boat Trailers - 1/2" Bow Eye replacing the front bumper. No more having to lean over the edge to hook the winch to the bow eye! He put it on his new Skeeter. After pulling out he can then hook the winch on the eye for road travel as extra security. Tracker Marine did not have to do anything as it is out of warranty so they are calling it Good Will! Best customer service I have ever seen.

Just got in from FG fished from 9 to 1 today, stuck one 13 inch monster hog around 12:30 in less than 2 fw under the main walkway in the slip. But other than just a couple of thumps that was it, water is so dirty you can only see 4 inches of vis and that is with a wht/treuse. The hog did not come on that color; it was on a blue/treuse Crazy Angler slab bandit.

Fished Sat. 3/05/16 and Sun. 3/06/16 water is starting to show signs of clearing visibility about 5" to 6" if your using a chartreuse or white color lure. I fished in Hickory Creek on Saturday evening which had water surface temps up to 57 degrees in 21 FOW at about the midway point. I didn't go much past that since I didn't want to get into shallow water since I'm just starting to learn the "spider rigging" techniques, had some fun learned a lot but didn't catch any fish.

Went back on Sunday but did not take the boat out since the wind was more than I wanted to deal with; ended up just fishing in the boat slips but finally broke my no catch streak that I've been on for a few weeks. Caught 5 crappie 1 really nice 13 inch'er and several perch, at least the bite seems to be turning back on. Now we'll have to see what effect if any this upcoming rain will have.

Going to try and go out tomorrow and drop some structure. I have a couple made out of Pex Pipe and a Christmas tree to drop. Probably needed to have them out already, but it's hard to do when everyone you know that fish works during the day. (Plus I wanted to wait until my Garmin was installed to mark them.) Then going to reward myself with the rest of my time catching some fish! Should be some good weather!

I went to Gibson earlier in the week, hit Blue Bill and Flat Rock and fishing was lousy. Normally I catch fish whenever I go but I'm kinda thinking I'm rushing it a little. This March has been sunny but the temps aren't right yet, the lake level has been fluctuating oddly over the past 3 +/- weeks or so and it's still too dingy/murky to cause the fish to turn on. If we can some stable and warmer weather I think they'll turn on like gangbusters.
