Yeah Redge. Like you sometimes I include my GK in the boat so I have an excuse to chase something that I can actually catch!

1/2 day trip with David and Mike yesterday. We started at 7:30 on a few trees in 35' to 45' DOW only finding a few. A blue bird day after a front and still having north winds drove the crappie deep into the wood and holding tight. Cast n Drag technique was tough since the crappie would not come and get the jig. We settled for vertical over the tightest wood and was able to weed a few out. Ended the day with 20 and a few throwbacks. Had a great day with some really good folks. BoneHead Rods and Mono and light colored baits were the ticket today........Ranger

Talk about a rough weekend! Never put together a 2 man limit all weekend!! On fish big time, but you had to smack them in the face more than once to get bit! I am blaming it on high pressure since I don't know what the deal was!
