I think I will take you up on that Redge!
Got to farm on Friday, they had just cut hay. Had planned on fishing the eufaula challenge, but couldn't do that and hay. Me and Oil Drainer went over and fished until the dew got off the grass! Left before the yahoos woke up, and got on the water.

Redge, I'm thinking about going to xkiller next week along with my big coat. Could you go ahead a let some of the smaller ones out of that wire trap you seem to have over there. It would make a lot of us feel better, IF JUST ONCE, you would post .... I had a bad day only caught 4-5 ..... Good looking slabs. Glad you had time to catch a few. rdjj
Thanks WW yesterday was hog day for us. Best/biggest in the last month.
RDJJ wish I could get off! You might want to call Mark, to let some out of his secret hiding place! We have had bad days, but we are capable of learning I guess! Of course we are a little slow on the learning, only has taken us 2 years to be able to catch on a consistent basis! Hope you get to go!!!

Redge I am lol at the rdjj post! It's true- since I joined c.c you have become really consistent and posted a lot of nice hauls of big fish. You have kind of become my hero really. Now if you could just teach your photo subjects how to smile. Now if I was your fishing partner I would even be smiling in my sleep! Congrats to the Wizard of Xkiller!

Thanks CC, can't wait for you to get home! When we go fishing I expect to see that smile in the fish pics! I think Drainer was contemplating the next 5 hours or raking hay!! That usually wipes the smile off my face too.
That's a good point. Having to leave those big girls behind when they are biting and return to chores would tend to sour my expression. As a kid I remember leaving my fishing buddies at a bass pond while I went home to clean stalls and milk the dang cow. Later in the day they showed up with the bed of a pickup almost covered with big old green carp. Takes the smile off my face just remembering it./-:
Fished today with my oldest son David. We don't get to hang out much together so it was a perfect day. We ended up with 20 with the biggest being 1.42lb. Only had 4 dinks all day and not a single black crappie caught. Today with a north wind they were tight lipped and had to be right on the break line to get bit. What a beautiful day for July......Ranger
