Nice job Ranger/Senior Jigger!! Saw them on the lake Friday afternoon. Picked up some fish Friday night, went fishing early Saturday as Ranger said, find the wood and you have found the fish! Had to leave early early for a Bday party and then baled hay afterwards. Be glad to get this hay finished so I can get back to fishing!

Redge, I can see the forest for the trees now!!! You know the spot I am talking about, I think you called it the orchard. With my 798 on down and side. I would get little pieces of trees showing up, I couldn't even tell if it was trees or fish. With the HDS, when I go along there I see EVERY THING, and I can see exactly what it is in perfect picture clarity. Now I just need to figure out how to catch them. The fishing was not good for me. Caught a bunch of dinks, 10 between 10 and 12" and one 1.5 lbs. And that was a 13 hour day. And with the new electronics I found all kinds of new stuff. What is the deal with the missed bites at Killer? At Wister, Kaw, Big E, Oologah, ect I hook up, I guess about 75 % of the bites. At killer the last 2 trips I am running about 10 %. No joke. I have tried 1/4 to 1/32 ounce heads and everything else I could think of ????

Hey Fishers, you might have to change your name to start with a "R"-ya know like Redge's or Ranger's names. But it is interesting how sometimes a hookup is easy and other times, hard as heck. I will be curious to see Redge's reply.

Fishers, those missed bites or lack of hookups, those are Rangers trained fish!!! I have been thinking if I buy a Ranger boat just like his, they won't know the difference between the two of us and I'll catch more!! LOL You should have hollered at me, might have at least got you a limit! Seriously I don't know why they do that, I can tell you if you just move on to some new fish they will be nailing it. Maybe Ranger will chime in and give us his input. I know last Saturday morning Oildrainer missed about 8 in a row, so it's not just you. Can you download your screenshots off of a card on your new FF? If so where's the pics!

Woodworker42, the suggestion of starting you name with "R" just has not worked for me. I think a rope to the back of their boats would work better.

Size: 101.6 KBDid much better yesterday. I caught a bunch of small blacks in the deep timber like before. Those are what you are seeing in the screenshots in some of the trees, they also are why I was missing so many strikes. The little blacks are just hard to hook, I lost a lot of jig tails messing with those. I found much bigger fish on brush shallower in 18 to 25 FOW. Didnt matter the jig, just get it in front of them. Didnt miss many hook ups on the big fish, they were slamming it. Set out some brush too. I used EB and Rangers technique of just yanking them off the bank with a rope, I wasnt sure it would work with my 60 HP, but it worked fine.Name: shot 10.jpg

Nice job Fishers, been sitting here all morning waiting for you to post up!!! Glad to see you got the screen shot figured out. That water sure looks nice. Had been contemplating on whether to go or not and that one pic made up my mind for me.
