Fished yesterday and cleaned 22 keeper Crappie. Could of kept some 10' to 10 1/2" fish to round out a limit but I aint that hungrey... we caught somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 crappie yesterday and alot of short male fish in everything that held crappie. Temps above the HWY 82 bridge got up to 65.6 degrees and as low as 61 degrees at Six Shooter. The lake is slowly falling and is alittle above 3' high. The Corps increased the discharge to over 4000 CFM's so it will be heading downward barring alot of rain today and tomorrow. Water is in really good shape below the 82 HWY bridge and has just a bit of color above the bridge and looks good with 10" to 14" Visibilty. All ramps are open that I saw....Ranger

Fished Tenkiller today with Ben and James Sharp and we cleaned 28 with the biggest at 2.03lb and 15 1/2" long. The mud has made it between 6 Shooter and Chicken Creek and is headed down the lake. Fish today were below the mud line and the water has cooled off 4 to 5 degrees and was 58.5 degrees. Fish were holding on 20' to 25' DOW and were all related to wood. If the weather ever settles this lake is going to be hot for awhile....Ranger

Going out again this weekend. Looks like the wind won't be near as bad. Any tips on the color jigs that are working well or do I need to break down and grab minnows? I still don't have quite the number of brush piles Ranger does on my depth finders but I have a few. Maybe one or two of them will hold some fish. Least if it is a bad day for me I am still having fun looking at the new electronics. Still not able to read side scan at all. I know the brush is there but I don't see it.

Trees are easy to see Brian...piles looks like a school of shad looking from the top down unless you are directly over it then you will see it in the boats path on the HDS...move the range to the closest you can say 30/30 0r 35/35 to get the best picture and contrast at 67 to 70%..hope that helps...I have been having the best luck on the salt and pepper slab bandit and the blk shad colors, caught a few on the blueberry blue/pearl...you can always throw the BG in blue thunder and the pumkin/chart slab slayer as well...hope this helps as well..Ranger

Bro if you want to take a ride sometime and look at brush piles holler at me. I'll be on eufaula for the next 2 weekends but anytime after that! Ranger has you fixed up on baits! I never use minnows, and my cousin can't leave the house without them.
