I did good Saturday morning, then Saturday afternoon the bite dropped off. Don't know why but it was off. Didn't go out this a.m., had to get equip ready for cuttin hay. Bro sounds like I picked the right morning not to go! Good luck ikeni! What kind of a finder did you get?
Went Saturday morning didn't do any good, lots of shad couldn't get the crappie to cooperate, at least keepers. Only fishing the morning because of boat traffic. Thanks to Brosborough, got some coordinates off of him and nothing but keepers! Biggest is 2.1#

12-15 in 20', they were hammering it! Couldn't hardly keep the bass off my line. Bet I caught 6, between 2 and 4 lbs.
Nice job. I'm coming home today from Lake Tessup in Canada. Been eating walleye all week long. Talk about easy fishing. Wish we had stuff like this here. The walleye all but jump in your boat by the hundreds. It's so hard to come back home from trips like this.

Charlie fished today and had 17 keepers with the biggest at 1.95lb. All came from trees in 33' DOW between Pettit and Cherokee.
Charlie had a limit today fishing the upper end on wood. Water is getting dirty above the bridge and will be rolling by the weekend with 5" of rain in the Illinois River Basin last night. Baits were baby shads in various colors. DOW was 12' to 20'..... Ranger
Glad to see Charlie found them! Going this weekend, sure the rising water won't help!
