Fished yesterday from 4-almost dark fish were biting really good. Caught 2 over 2#. Went this morning, what a difference 12 hours makes! Fished til 430 brought home 8 keepers was all. Lots of dinks and saw a lot of fish on the finder, as the day progressed the bite fell off. However the water is still rising, 3.5 ' above normal. Beautiful day on the water.
Went up yesterday. Wind was horrible. Found shad in different areas but no luck with the crappie. However I did get to play with my new depth/fish finders. Um structure scan rules!!! So I might not have caught any fish but I still had a blast playing with the new toys. Going back out this afternoon, wind looks even worse so probably still won't catch any. Sometimes I get lucky trying to guess a spot. There were half dozen coves hidden from the wind yesterday with 4 boats per cove. Well maybe not that bad but seems like everyone is hiding in the same spots. Anyone have tips on what beer or food item to bring so they will open a spot for me?
Oh, yesterday I saw a bunch of boats fishing, think for crappie, and they all had white flags on the boat. Just curious, what's the flag signify?

Ha! Just wrecked the boat reading that one. Anyone on Tenkiller that can come pick up the guy in the white and green Triton? It's parked on island, half way up!!
Bro I saw a couple aluminum boats with a white flag above 82 bridge they were fishing for blues and doing pretty good. They would hide in the coves a bit, then go check their jug lines. Don't know if that's the ones you were talking about.

some times they fly flags if scuba divers are down under water. but I think they are also suppose to have bouy markers out .
I think the dive flags are red and black? Where you been KDlong?
Not scuba. I scuba and those are not the right flags.
I've been hiding trying to sneak away up to your neck of the woods. I sure miss tenkiller this time of year. but i'm trying to get on sardis to relearn the lake. it's been to many years I have lost most of my fishing spots down here. I use to mark everything by landmarks back then most are gone. so starting over from scratch.
