The bite has moved to mid lake and south. To far south and you can see 15' deep. Hoping the rain colors it up just a little. All I can say is wood wood wood.
Fished Killer today with clients from 82 bridge to Chicken Creek. Fished Deep trees, mid depth trees, deep wood piles, and shallow piles and caught them everywhere. Only pattern was wood wood wood. Females are still spewing eggs all over the boat and my ice chest was layered with eggs in the bottom. Males are still Black as well. Ended up with 41 today with a lot of 10 1/2" fish but some really nice ones as well......Ranger
Oil drainer and I finally got back on the water after getting the TM fixed, and some hay baled . During that process found a rat had chewed some FF wires. All good now! Took a long time for us to hunt up a limit! Very nice day on the water, got the carpet washed a few times. Saw a red fox. Blue thunder was top pick today. As Ranger said Wood, wood, wood!
Back on Killer today with clients Jackie and Denton from Hutchinson Kansas. I can tell you this with these two there is never a dull moment. We caught fish from trees, deep piles, and shallow piles. Best DOW was 8' to 14' and baits were Slab Bandits is Salt n Pepper and Pearl/Truse. Big fish was 1.63 today. WT was 80 degrees we ended up with 30 on a half day trip.

Fished Beautiful Tenkiller today with clients Dave and Lorie from Claremore. We started out in very dense for and the fish were deep in 28' to 40' DOW. As soon as the sun came out they moved shallow and the bite was on fire. 8' to 14' on wood and rock. Bait of choice was salt n pepper Slab Bandits and touching the wood. Ended a short day with 40 and the biggest weighing in at 1.63lb. Great Day with Great People.......Ranger

Most my fish came off brush piles in 22 to 28 feet of water. I used several jigs, and out of the jigs I tried, a BG wiggler in sunrise color on a 1/4 ounce pink head beat the others hands down. First part of the day (around noon) they were barely picking it up, late day they started to smack it harder. Big thanks to Redge for the help. I really need it on Killer!

Ranger, thanks for the piles! I would bet dimes to dollars you put them out there. I have got a ways to go on that lake. I still dont have the hang of fishing the deep standing timber. And I spend more time looking for stuff to fish than fishing.

Fished this morning for about 45 minutes after getting a new transducer installed in the Ranger. Just had to put it in the water on my 40th Wedding Anniversary. Well they were right where I left them Wednesday. Had 11 keepers and had to get. And Fishers I will add to my assortment of piles so good luck in finding these lol......Ranger

Well ran over to the lake yesterday and tried to help Jiggin with his FF. Fished a little afterwards, crappie weren't exactly tearing it up. Lots of fish on the finder, learned a new technique to catch them dudes!

If I could just get some guys to start helping on the brushing part maybe I could fish some new stuff too. Lol. I try and add to or make new at least 1 pile every time out. That's the future of our fishing. Brian and I added 13 new piles on Eufaula last week and 2 days after even with leaves and smallpersimmons on the limbs fish were caught off them.....Ranger
