I thought I was there early in the morning. I was there at day break. Already 2 boats there crowding it. They must have been there during the dark.
PM sent on the baits.

I've been out a few times lately. There have a been a few fish on the grate but not bunched up like last year yet. You can sit there and catch plenty but they've been partial to one side or the other. If no one is there, I drive over it so I can see which side they're on with the side imaging. I love having the ability to do that. It saves tons of time. I found one of the biggest schools of baitfish I've ever seen at tbird the other day. They were on the north end of the dam. I caught several fish there. They were hard to keep up with because thy roam around so much when they're suspended out like that i guess. The graph showed all kinds of fish there feeding on them.

That grate is always a sure thing. Gentry do you have any screen shots you could post to the structure scan thread? I would love to see what that grate actually looks like. I am still trying to talk myself into the hds 8. I bought an elite 7 but know it won't do anything close to what the hds does.

x2 on the grate side and down image.
I've seen some very good Elite 7 images.

Hope the elite works ok. I used an elite at texoma for striper and it worked great for fish and bait but not so much for structure.

I don't have any but I'll try to get some the next time I'm out if no one is there. I usually go across it one way, then the other to find the fish. After that i'll come by at the best angle to get a really good look at them and see how many are there. You'll usually see a group hanging around on one side or the other. I have an HDS 10 and absolutely love it.

Made it out for a bit yesterday. I took a pic of the grate but can't figure out how you post it. I'll have to work in it some more. There were more fish beside it yesterday than previously. I didn't fish there though. Fish were pretty rough to convince and weren't exactly itching to jump on the hook. Had their bellies on the bottom. Brought 9 home between 10 and 14".

The simplest was is to you the insert image located directly above and to the right of the box you type in. It is just to the right of the globe with the red x. That or email it to me at [email protected] and I'll post it.
