Hit a windy point on the north side last night from 7:30-9. Bagged one keeper crappie and 2 17-18" saugeye. Also 2 dinks and a pumkinseed. All were caught on 1/8 oz yellow jighead with spinner blade and white shad swimbait. All my luck has come with reflective lures (chrome ratltrap included). BTW since I've been posting a bit lately I might as well introduce myself - my name's Will and I'm a graduate student at OU. Thanks for all the tips I've gotten from y'all so far. Good luck out there!
Oh out of curiosity I've been checking to see what's in the stomachs of the fish I've been keeping for dinner. Saugeye and crappie have all had empty bellies. The sandies however all had tons of very small bugs that looked like lightning bugs. Not sure what's thats worth to anyone but there ya go.
