Thanks for the info Ranger. That was a good cove with mostly all natural cover. I may have to go drop some cover where the tree was. It always held fish.

Work got in the way today and now I have a meeting tomorrow so it looks like Wed or Thurs for me.

Made it out yesterday evening. Fished the cove south of denver corner. Vertical and casting jigs. I didn't have a single bite. Water temp was 65. I need to start puttin more time out there to figure out a cold weather pattern
I was out on Saturday evening and Sunday morning. Spent the night on the boat with my Grandson. Caught a few dinks. All on minnows. Nothing on jigs. Bite was extremely lite. Seem to have a lot of fish under the boat according to my finder. Worked the entire water column but caught the fish about 1'-5' off the bottom in 20+ FOW. Neither saw or caught anything in shallow water. Caught a couple of cats while drifting but no crappie while drifting. Water temp 64-66.
The best time to fish is whenever you can.
I went out after work yesterday. Fished a cove across from hog creek ramp, along the dam, and a cove over by clear bay, nothing! Marked fish at all locations, no bites on minnows or jigs. Ended up back at the marina where a couple of guys came in right behind me with the same story. Hung around the marina until about 630 and caught a few dinks before heading home. I may give it a try later this afternoon or wait until tomorrow. There were a couple of guys fishing from a house boat that had caught 27 catfish but most were caught between 10a-noon.

While I was paddling across to the southside yesterday I noticed a school of fish right on the edge of the channel on my finder. fooled around trying to get them to bite but came up with nada. It be nice to get into a good batch of saugeyes.
Boat49 do you happen to know if they was catchin blues or channels?
No, all i heard was catfish. What were you paddling? A guy in a yellow kayak was paddling along the north side of the marina when I was leaving.
