Had 14 keepers this evening from 5-730pm and had prolly twice that many throw backs. Nothing big but solid 10-11 inch fish. Somethin to stink a skillet up.

I never have any luck with crappie nibbles. I'll have to try again when the bite is slow.

Launched the boat yesterday with grandson and son-n-law after picking it up Wed. from the repair shop. (Still not fixed) Ran around the lake before stopping in one of the coves for a bit to see whats biting. Caught 8 9-11'' that the grandson wanted to take home so we kept them for him! I cleaned them of course I went back out about 6pm today to run the boat some more, ran the same,(still not fixed) but did go to a different cove where I marked several spots before the water came up and found 2 holding what looked to be alot of fish. I will be going back tomorrow to check those places out. I'll post the results of how that works out!

I havnt been out to thunderbird since this cooler weather. But last week I was catchin them on wood in the cove across from denver corner ramp an in the cove near the island. The coves on the northside with timber will usually produce some. I mite try to make it out tomaro myself if the wind isn't too bad.Fishermans point is probley one of the better ramps to launch at. Denver corner isn't bad if you don't mind a steep ramp. This year is my first year out at dirty bird I'm still tryna figure out them crappie there myself.
