Went out yesterday from 7 am to noon. Caught my usual 4"-9.5" crappie strolling with big jigs. No saugeye this time but a couple of nice sand bass. Nothing for the live well. Who says you need ultralight jigs. Caught a 5" Crappie on a 1/4 oz Gopher Mushroom head with a 5" Kalins grub on it. He swallowed as much as he could.

Wonder how crazy it will be tomorrow? I want to go, but don't want to get run over! Guess I could hang out in the shallows.

Not me!

Just got home from work. Wondering with the weather and all what it would be like if I headed out to the marina. I may take a little nap and head that way around 3-4 and check it out. If its a boat show on the water I can piddle around with the boat so it will be ready to go, which it always is!, tomorrow.

Saw several boats out and about this afternoon, anyone in any of them and did you do any good? I hit a couple of coves and found a few on structure in the channels.

I leave on Monday for a two week job-related trip to Arizona and New Mexico. Better believe I'll be out there tomorrow morning! My last chance before I leave. I usually spend most of my time around the dam, but I think I will hit as many coves as I can this time.

I plan on going out myself tomorrowmaybe I'll get to meet some of you guys out there I'm going to hit the damn myselfearly if it gets windy I'll be in a cove also
