CJ WATER TEMPS AND FISHING THREAD FOR FALL 2015 & 2016

Talked with Toni and John Adams, the Park`s new ex- law enforcement officer whom still proudly wears his badge. The bait / vending machine shop will open tomorrow. (They have no vending machines yet) They will sell night crawlers, wax and red worms (no minnows or leaches at all) and very beginner basic fishing tackle. They make Mikes old panfish- only operation look like Bass Pro Shop by comparison... and their hours of operation are going to be laughable ! Am not certain if they will sell gas and/ or oil... ENJOY !

Everything has stopped again....water temp has dropped to 58 degrees and falling!
Crappie were again deep...ended up taking home another limit on Saturday of 11 and 12's, with 13.5 as the big...caught hundreds of 9-10's. White and Chartreuse were the main colors??? They were not hitting natural colors well, even though the sun was out!
BIG Bass Tourney but I didn't see weigh in.
Temps will drop some more with all this cold rain today...Maybe they'll spawn in June!

June 2016 or 2017 ? Indian lake Saturday was in the LOW-mid 50's so maybe next week in might get to 60 ?

You're right Paul....This year is topsy turvy even for Ohio!
With all this cold rain and cool temps for the last couple nights, CJ may see 50 degrees!

I just saw where the weather-people were calling for El Nino to be gone soon and we would see high temps (with some 100 degree days) and drought for the summer and then a bad winter...just what we need!lol

Yep...it's funny, 4 yrs ago I gave my son the option of moving to Greenville South Carolina or Daytona Beach Florida...I had jobs in both places lined up.
He didn't want to move due to his friends, so I refinanced the house and set roots again....NOW HE HATES THE COLD AND WANTS TO LEAVE to play football in the South, at the "Football Factories" they have down there....figures...especially since I can't go now!lol
Maybe a Bad Winter may change my mind!

His "Plan" is to make it to the NFL and take me South with him....I hope it all works out!lol

On another note....can you imagine what our water will look and smell like if we have a hot and dry summer???
It'll all look like Pea Soup and smell like rotten eggs in a bad sewer system....heck, we may even be able to walk on the Algae Islands!

I know just below Daytona they have had so much rain that they just had one of their largest fish kills in history...it was all due to fertilizer run-off into the bay and freshwater systems and the massive algae bloom that used up all the oxygen in the water!
That's been happening alot (All-over)....wonder if anyone is doing anything about it???

Or how he hates the heat and bugs so he goes to collage and moves to North Dakota !! LOL
