Can you fish Caesar's creek at night?
Went out last night (was already dark). Not much of a breeze and the lake was calm. Water temp was about 81deg.
Fishing was slow at first and nothing hitting a jig, only minnow under a bobber. Tried normal spots (up to 40 FOW).
Moved to a slightly different area and started catching in 20FOW. Some small/medium crappies, but WB were active and caught those mostly. A little later both crappie and WB were hitting jigs too. I had a number of times where I caught doubles up (two jigs about 18-20" apart).
Ended up catching several gills and one cat. Largest crappie was 11". Largest WB was approx 16-17" (didn't measure it)
